Friday the 4th of November saw Rovers and Venturers from all over Mount Dandenong region, and even some from further away, congregate at the Playzone indoor play centre.
What can Playzone offer to keep the 150 Venturers and Rovers entertained? There’s a vertical slide, multiple jumping castles and obstacle course, and much, much, more. This year the theme for the night was TV Characters, and we saw the likes of The Stig, Abby from NCIS and Ash from Pokemon among others.
It was a great opportunity for Rovers to get to know Venturers, and vice versa, and also for everyone to get to know others in the region. As one of the Venturer leaders remarked, there were so many previously unfamiliar faces that we got to know during the night.
I’d like to thank everyone who helped run such a great night, and hopefully we’ll see you all there next year!
