Victorian Flood Relief Project

As with the February 2009 Bushfires, Victorian Rovers are at the forefront to assist with the Recovery phase of the recent devastating floods in North West/Northern Victoria. This needs as much help as possible from Rovers in Victoria, a cleanup after a flood requires many months of work to help return to normality.

In association with local government and the Victorian Branch, Rovers are asked to donate some time to help with cleanup operations throughout the state from this devastating event. Working alongside local emergency services and recovery authorities, Rovers can help with rebuilding local communities.

To get involved, head over to the Victorian Scouting Emergency Flood Relief Effort and provide your details. Additionally, Victorian Scouts has a page set up dedicated to providing up to the minute information with regards to this project, this is located at the VicScouts Flood Relief Effort Website.

Donations for Flood Relief Projects

Victorian Rovers raised over $500 for flood relief efforts at Surfmoot 2011. Well done and thank you to all those that gave. The money will be split between both the Queensland and Victorian Flood Relief Funds, managed by each branch.

Additionally, Victorian Rovers have donated $500 to the Queensland Flood Appeal from the Victorian Branch Rover Council.
