After much anticipation, you can now complete components of your Rover Training online. While some components must still be completed face-to-face, the Intro to Rovers course is can now be completed online in less than an hour! This is an accredited course and an easy way to help Rover Crews get their squires qualified in their Intro to Rovers Course.
Every Registered Rover in Victoria is now able to access the Scouts Australia Institute of Training e-Learning System.
To access the system, visit http://www.sait.scouts.com.au. Select Victorian Branch, enter your Scout Registration Number (ask your crew leader, region chair, RA or group leader). Your initial password is your date of birth including the zeros and slashes. For example, 5th August 1988, your password would be 05/08/1988. For 1st December 1991 your password would be 01/12/91.
News will be out soon with regards to the process for continuing Rover training and obtaining workbooks if you choose to continue on to your Basic or Advanced Training. Watch this space for more updates.
