After much anticipation, you can now complete components of your Rover Training online. While some components must still be completed face-to-face, the Intro to Rovers course is can now be completed online in less than an hour! This is an accredited course and an easy way to help Rover Crews get their squires qualified in their Intro to Rovers Course.
Every Registered Rover in Victoria is now able to access the Scouts Australia Institute of Training e-Learning System, part of Scout Central.
To access the system, follow the instructions below:
Step 1. Go to http://www.sait.scouts.com.au
Step 2. Select "Victoria" as your Branch
Step 3. Enter your Scout Registration Number
If you don’t know your registration number you can access it here: http://www.vicrovers.com/index.php/component/scoutrego/
Step 4. Enter your default password. This is your date of birth in the following format: DD/MM/YYYY - Note that you must add the "/" for the password to work
Step 5. Change your password and enter a "secret question."
Step 6. You will then be redirected to the Rover training page.
