Rover Scout Motorsport conducted Revfest at Mafeking Rover Park on 27/28 February 2010.  A field of 65 drivers attended the championship event with each driver completing 18 tests.  

Bradley Kent from Fort Nepean Rover Crew took the top outright honours in “The Apprentice” and lead the way for a successful weekend for the crew.  Fort Nepean dominated the event with Bradley also winning the 1300cc class, Nathan Hipwell taking out the rookie’s trophy and the crew winning the team championship award.

The 1600cc class B award was won by Mark Benham of Keith Farquar Rover Crew in a Toyota Corolla and the 2 litre class C trophy was won by Brett Lewis in the space-frame buggy “Outasite”.

Class D (above 2 litre) was won by Brett Dickson in Bung ‘Ole.  Class B was a very competitive class with lots of entries.  The Ladies trophy was won by Jess Grant of Schwerkolt Rover Crew and in second place was Michelle Anderson from Harrison Rover Crew.

The other-RSM member class (Non-Rovers) was won by the entry representing Sir Dallas Brooks Rover Crew.

Congratulations to everyone on a fantastic weekend. Well done and thanks to everyone that volunteered for assisting across the weekend. Well done to Simon Millar for arranging the event and to Brad Kent for organising the entries over the weekend.

Thank you to all members who attended the event and the next championship round is Lead Foot Challenge to be held on the weekend after Easter on 9-11 April 2010.
