So What Happens Onsite at WAM??
We all know that the five day expeditions are a massive draw card for attending WAM2014. But what else do we get up to when we're onsite at WAM?
One of the most important things at the moot is the Eastman Shield, the interstate competition. It's all kinds of different events from watermelon rugby to tug of war! We get a feeling that 2014 is the year for VicCon to shine! Bring it on!
Of course, there is also great entertainment every night, and each night has a theme. At past moots popular themes have included a toga party, Zombieland and Aussie Icons.
Most of the Onsite time at the Moot is after the expeditions, so you can introduce your new friends to your old friends and then you can ALL be friends! Yay! During this time after the expeditions, you will all have the opportunity to complete a gold, silver and bronze offsite activity. In the past activities have included sky diving, caving and local town tours..... We will also complete a service activity too!
So jump online to www.wam2014.com.au and sign up for the event of a lifetime! Also, select your expedition preferences ASAP to ensure you get your most preferred adventure.

Moot Bank
Don't think you can afford to come to WAM?
FEAR NOT!
The VicCon Team have a plan!
If you're like us, saving is not one of your strengths. Mudbash, MARB, Crew camps and weekly Rover activities? It all adds up. And that's not even mentioning all those pesky outside costs like food and shelter.
But that's OK. The Contingent Team have thought about this and we're going to help everyone save so that they can come to WAM!
The Plan:
The countdown to WAM2014 is on and we don't want anyone to miss out just because they didn't save enough money in time. So why not set up monthly or even weekly deposits into the VicCon MootBank where our wonderful treasury team will manage your funds for you.
Prices
| Moot Fee | $850 |
| Contingent Fee | $100 |
| Expedition Fee |

Guidelines
- Get in contact with the Contingent Treasurer before payments begin. (Because otherwise you won't know where to make your payments)
- Payments from your MootBank deposits will only be made on your behalf with your approval.
Contingent Fee
The Contingent Fee for WAM was set earlier this year, when the BRC approved the contingent budget.
All Victorian Rovers and staff are required to be a part of the Victorian contingent.
The Contingent fee is $100 and includes all kinds of cool stuff, mostly merch.
The moot will therefore cost us $950 plus transport and expedition.
The Victorian Contingent budget is ready for download here by those who are interested in such things.
Contingent Refund Policy:
Withdrawals before October 1 will result in a full refund, less administrative fees.
Refunds after October 1 will be at the discretion of the Contingent Council.
WAM Applications Open
With just over 500 days to go, applications are now open for WAM2014
Woodman Point Recreation Camp will be home to Rovers from across Australia and the world from December 30th to January 11th. Will you be one of them?
