Rovers Clean Up Geelong Waterfront

On 1st May, Alex Pandik, Laura Wood and Pete Wotherspoon (RA), all from Boss Hurst Rover Crew, went down to the Geelong Waterfront and picked up rubbish.

On 1st May, Alex Pandik, Laura Wood and Pete Wotherspoon (RA), all from Boss Hurst Rover Crew, went down to the Geelong Waterfront and picked up rubbish. Overall they spent about an hour picking up, in total, about two garbage bags full. This doesn’t sound like much, but with the amount of little bits of rubbish they picked up, it was actually a great amount.

On the 28th of October on a particularly fine Thursday evening at around 5:30pm Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Leaders, and Rovers from the districts of Glen Eira-Stonnington, Boroondara, and Bayside that make up Melbourne Region descended on Federation Square with most arriving by public transport and some bought their group flags.

Seven Rovers recieved their Baden Powell Scout Award during 2010/2011, they were presented with their official certificate by the Governor of Victoria on 8th October at a special ceremony at Government House.
